Can I really spend anywhere?

Yes! Anywhere in the World that accepts MasterCard. That’s 30 million places. In-store and online.

You can use the card as many times as you like until the balance is spent.

There are no fees to use your card in the currency it is loaded in.

If you use your card in another currency the transaction is translated at the MasterCard exchange rate, plus a 2.75% fee.

How to use My Card

 1)         You will need to first activate your card;

2)         Please have with you the “Activation code” and the Card to hand;

3)         If you have not been given the code, please check your Spam/Junk folder of your email account, or ask the purchaser. Alternatively, please contact us at love@theirperfectgift.co.uk, where we will provide you the activation code after               you have cleared the security check.

4)         Click the “Activate My Card” icon on the website and follow the prompts;

5)         Replace the card details of the purchaser with yours;

6)         The expiry date on screen is the date that your card will expire;

7)         You can redeem your card at any outlet online or in store that accepts MasterCard. For store purchases, the retailer must have a pdq that can swipe your card.

8)         Remember to spend within the card balance, or the card will be rejected;

Do I need to activate before use?

We post your card first class and at the same time we email an activation code to the person who ordered the gift card.

Please look for an email from love@theirperfectgift.co.uk, or ask the person who ordered the card.

Once you have your card and activation code, visit our website and select activate from the main menu.

Can I use my card online?

Yes you can. Make sure you use the same address and post code you entered when you activated your card.

Can I buy something for more than the value of my card?

If you want to buy something for more than the value of your gift card, simply ask the cashier to split the payment.

If you try to buy something for more than the value on the card, your card will be rejected.

Do I need a PIN?

Our cards do not need a PIN. Simply ask the cashier to swipe the card through their machine.

It is important they swipe as a DEBIT card and not a gift card.

Can I reload the card later?

No, our gift cards are single use only.

Do I get cash out from a ATM?

No, sorry!

Why do you charge an activation fee?

Most other gift cards are tied to one or a limited number of retailers. So your choice is limited. These cards are funded by the retailer profit when the card is spent.

Our cards can be used anywhere that accepts MasterCard Online & in-store, and this means we need to charge a fee to cover the costs.

What fees do you charge?

There are no fees to pay to use the card in the UK.

You can use the card as many times as you like until the balance is spent.

If you use your card in another currency the transaction is translated at the MasterCard exchange rate, plus a 2.75% fee.

If you lose your card or need to extend the expiry we need to charge a £5 fee per card.

My card has been declined online

This could be because there is not enough balance on the card.

It could also be because you need to register your card to use online.

In most cases this happens because there is not enough balance on the card.

If you want to buy something for more than the balance on the card, simply ask the cashier to take a certain amount from your gift card and pay the remaining balance another way
